Let's get your quilt finished!

I offer edge-to-edge (aka pantograph) quilting on my APQS Millie longarm quilting machine. My quilting services are priced per square inch. To determine the number of square inches multiply the width of your quilt by the length of your quilt.

My process is very straight-forward:

1. Just fill out the form below so that I have your contact information, and select your preferred quilting design, batting, and thread color. 
2. After you submit I will reach out to you with whatever method you prefer and have selected (text, email, or phone). At that time I will give you an estimate of the final cost for your specific project. 
3. Drop off or ship your quilt top to my home studio.
4. I will quilt your project using the quilting design and thread color you have chosen. If you want your quilt binded, I will also complete this.
5. I will reach out to you to say your quilt is complete, yay!

Listed below you can find a break-down of the individual costs. 

The minimum price for my quilting service is $40, regardless of how small your quilt/project.

Priority Machine Quilting – 3.5 cents per square inch – 7 day turn around

     If you would like your quilt back as soon as possible, I offer priority quilting for just 3.5 cents per square inch. The wait time is 7 business days from the time I receive your quilt to the time I complete the quilting.

Standard Machine Quilting – 2.5 cents per square inch – 4 week turn around

     If you are not in a hurry to see your beautiful quilt, the standard machine quilting option is for you! I will have completed your project within 4 weeks of having received your quilt or project.

All designs are the same price, check them out at the link in the menu. Currently, I am offering edge-to-edge quilting where a continuous line quilting pattern is stitched over the entire quilt, including the borders..

Batting - $10 per yard

You can supply your own batting or you can purchase batting from me. I prefer to use Quilter’s Dream 80/20, a blend of 80% high grade long staple USA cotton fiber paired with 20% fine denier poly microfiber. This batting drapes beautifully, breathes well, doesn’t hold a large crease when the quilt is folded, and doesn’t lint everywhere. The cotton adds stability and coziness, and the poly adds loft and resistance to wrinkles. This batting works well with most projects, from bedding, to wall hangings, to baby quilts, to table runners.

You are welcome to supply your own batting, please ensure the size has an additional 8 inches longer and 8 inches wider than the dimensions of your quilt top.

There is no additional charge for thread, it comes as part of the quilting service, detailed above.

Binding Optional – Add $45+ and 2-3 additional days

I’m happy to completely finish off your quilt by binding it so that it is ready to use when you pick it up. If your order includes binding, please add an additional 2-3 business days for your quilt to be finished. 

Machine binding is an additional $45 and hand binding is an additional $105.

Shipping – $10

If you are local then I’m happy to accept your quilt top via contact-less curbside drop off at my home studio. Or if you would prefer, you can ship your quilt top to me and I’ll return it in the mail as soon as it is completed.
